PRESENTATION

The work of the artist Kun Kang always represents two images in the same space because he is interested in the relationship between people. He finds interest in seeking the contradictory aspects influenced by his personal experience. Since his childhood, he had the curiosity to know the thoughts of others about him. For example, he wonders about the difference in perception of his face by others and by himself. He is concerned about the judgment that is worn on the personality by other people. After becoming an adult, he finds that his own personality may have to change because of the judgment of others. This experience disturbs him about his identity and sometimes hurts him. Therefore, his projects reflect his confusion about identity, about the different relationships that bind us to each other and about the perception of our environment. In other words, his works represent the history of relations between himself and others or between himself and society.
