Carrying the burden of a time and a history, Maëlle Dufour’s sculptures reveal the whirlwind and the chaos of existence. They try to incarnate what persists in the midst of chaos. They resemble ruins torn from their original context. The artist emphasizes the importance of human and natural origin, but through their waste. Reports are made between these various residues. States that oscillate between fall and suspension. A time that is never stable.
