French, born 1995, lives and works in Paris, France
Originally from Nantes, after completing scientific studies, Marc Voillet turned his attention to fine arts studies, in particular through precise analytical drawings in black and white. The color gradually appeared in his work by touches that shake the structured sets. A more dreamlike dimension appeared and became increasingly more important until it seemed to relate his paintings to stained glass thanks to the work of light. His work is intimately linked with a look at the world of pornography and the sharing of images on the internet. These references mingle with intimate moments of everyday life creating the strange worlds of his paintings.
