PRESENTATION

Sophie Blet’s current work began by exploring landscapes, by day and by night, waiting, staying totally still, immobile in front of a panorama which changed following its own cycles and movements.
By diverting measuring objects from their function or by creating fictitious images, which are nonetheless close to reality, she tries to reveal what is immeasurable, unknown, what does not exist, what will not exist anymore or what is unlikely to exist. What she questions, is the gap between what the cosmos (the Universe and its laws) is or could be, and what we can observe, know or hope for.
