Chinese, born 1991, lives and works in Beijing, China
Firstly trained as a painter, Yanmeng Zhang recently explored video language. Her video works maintain the quality of painting works. From experiencing painting works, she believes in the power of gazing. She is trying to create video work in poetic and non-time way, to activate viewer’s emotion and imagination during gazing.
